Background

I grew up the town of Loudwater, in the Grey Vale. When I was nearly of age, my family moved north, to the city of Silverymoom, in the land of Luruar. I've been living there ever since. For the past ten years or so, I've been working for Lady Gaerradh in Silverymoon, and she asked that I go abroad to find anything I could about the current locations of the ten Invisible Rings. One of them is supposed to be in Loudwater, so I chose to return to my old hometown and see if I could find it.

Entry 1

This morning, as I was walking peacefully through the Southwood, some twenty miles east of Loudwater, I was thinking back to my youth among these lovely trees. Suddenly, I was ambushed by bandits, and taken captive! They tied me up, gagged me, and put me in an enclosed wagon. Apparently, the bandits themselves were then ambushed by goblins, and a fight broke out. The wagon caught on fire at one point, so I tried calling out and kicking my foot against the edge, hoping someone would come and save me.
