Irien
Irien is a chaotic-good female elf fighter. She wields a composite longbow for ranged work, and prefers dual-wielding a rapier and kukri for melee. She is also skilled at bowmaking.

Background
Irien was raised in an elven village near to human-inhabited lands, so she is comfortable dealing with many races and types of people. After her village fell under the control of an oppressive government, she became suspicious of organizations of any sort, preferring to do things on her own. She likes to help others whenever possible, though she has little regard for people who blindly follow rules and laws. Her current goals in life are to make the world a better place by killing as many evil creatures as she can. To that end, she is gathering gold and treasure so that she can purchase better equipment for herself.
In preparation for her personal goals, she has been practicing and training. She is amazingly quick and agile, and found that the strong but deadly rapier suites her style more than the normal longsword, preferred by her kind.
Adventures
A Dark and Stormy Knight
Having left her village, and with the blessings of her parents, she was on the road to a nearby city to find her fortune when she met up with a half-elf, Ember Cambrio. Caught outside in a furious storm, they sought refuge in an old tower. There were three others sheltering there at the same time: Milo Showersinger the halfling bard, Gorman the dwarf paladin, and Symbiosix, the enigmatic human druid. When they were attached by hordes of rats, she killed some rats with her composite longbow, and with her rapier and kukri. This was her first combat experience. Shortly thereafter, she proceeded into the complex, accompanied by Milo, Fenrix Dark and Emeldir Gloordhel, where she helped to kill a Vargouille, two hobgoblins, a monstrous spider, and a dangerous zombie bugbear. She obtained a magic Headband of the Stout Heart, and some money to buy some healing potions and a healers kit.
