Korrim Thynnblaed

Korrim lived his life an orphan on a ship. The beginning of his life he was put in an orphanage with other little children. They were treated rather badly and weren't given enough food. Korrim asked for more food and tried to explain that they were not treated fairly. The people in charge only got angry. Rebelliously, he began sharpening sticks and distributing them to the other children. They practiced techniques for a while then Korrim led an raid on the kitchen. He used deceptive strategies and tactics. They were rewarded with fresh bread and apples. The grown-ups were awe-struck. No one had been injured but had been knocked out, gagged, and thrown in a closet. They decided to let it go and be more wary. A week passed and Korrim's band attacked once more. Now the orphanage went out of business and the children were set free. Korrim began wandering until he came upon the sea. The rolling waves and churning waters enthralled him. Korrim has been in love with it ever since. He joined a crew on a ship that traded exotic goods with far areas of Bunawan. He lived on the ship for many years until pirates came and wrecked the ship. Korrim escaped by hiding in a barrel and jumping in the water. Thankfully, it was a barrel of apples, so he did not starve as he waited to arrive on land. When he did, he was thoroughly sick of apples. He had picked up supplies from the wreckage, but it wasn't enough, so he wandered along a river to the town of Lasang. There he purchased a blade and a few other things. He had been practicing quite a bit on the ship so Korrim was quite proficient with the cutlass. Korrim then joined up with a group of adventurers that seemed itching for some adventure.
